His Grace Bishop Sevastianos will provide for us an opportunity to explore the biblical story of the Prodigal Son and specifically the characters of the two brothers and their father and how these characters relate to us. We will attempt to shed light on the story, by using Rembrandt’s famous painting The Return of the Prodigal Son along with the reflections of Henri Nouwen and the rich Tradition of our Church. Come and see how we personalize or reject God’s love and forgiveness and how we may allow ourselves to be embraced and loved by our heavenly Father.
Please join us for a pan-Orthodox potluck dinner on Friday, March 8!
Bring your favorite meatless dish, (seafood & dairy are permitted) and join us for a night of faith, fun and fellowship as we begin the Lenten Season.
The Orthodox Professional Association (OPA) is focused on bringing Orthodox Christian young adults together through social activities and community events.
We hope to see you there.
